ADD TIPS

Sample image of fixtures page.align=Use the fixtures page to view forthcoming games. For each match, decide what you think will be the result. When the match has been played, you will receive points according to the following rules:

* 1 point for the correct outcome (e.g. a win)
* Having predicted the correct outcome, a further 1 point for each correct team score

Example
Arsenal v Man Utd.
Your tip 2-0
Actual result 2-1

1 point for the correct outcome
+ 1 point for Arsenal's correct score

You can choose which matches you tip for. Either tip all premiership matches, or select just one team's games to play. You can change your current setting at any time via the preferences page.

Please note that tips must be placed at least 10 minutes before each fixture.

VIEW TABLES

You can track your progress in three different types of table, all available from the tables page.

Pundits League - the overall Pundits League shows all players tipping for all matches. It shows the players closest to you by default; you can also view any part of the table.

Your Team League - just want to tip one team? Interested in your score for one team's matches, and how other players compare? Nominate a team and view your progress here.

You can invite other players to join you in your own mini-league. This allows you to directly compete against friends, family, or colleagues. Find out who's makin' it and who's fakin' it!

BONUS MATCHES

Throughout the season, certain matches will be marked as Bonus matches. Tips on these matches will be worth more than regular tips so you may gain double, or even treble the amount of normal points - great for catching up!

(Bonus matches will be highlighted on the fixtures page.)

RANDOM TIPS

Predicting every premier league result for a season can seem a daunting task but, not to fear: help is at hand! By selecting 'Randomly generate tips' from your preferences page, you will have tips automatically generated for you for any matches you miss.

UPDATE 19.05.08 - PUNDITS CUP

Congratulations to Mark Langford, who wins the Pundits Cup with victory over Alun Price in the final. He matched the achievement of the team he supports, Portsmouth, following his heart to beat Alun 2-0 in the final. It has been a fantastic season for Mark, winning the Pundits League and Cup Double, the first time this has ever been achieved on the site.

We hope you will all come back next season to play Premier Pundits, and try to knock Mark off his perch! Look out for updates from us over the summer, and please get all your friends involved by creating mini-leagues and inviting them to play.

See you next season!

UPDATE 13.05.08 - PUNDITS CHAMPION

Congratulations to Mark Langford, Pundits Champion of 2008 with an outstanding haul of 475 points. Mark is a deserving winner, 35 points clear of the field, with two Pundit of the Month awards to his name this season as well. Anyone who knows Mark knows what an outstanding achievement this is given his complete lack of any football knowledge!

Credit also to Alun Price, who came second with 440 points. The top two meet each other in the Pundits Cup final on Saturday, with Alun hoping to prevent Mark pulling off a remarkable double. And a final honourable mention to Dave Emery and Ben Gibson, 3rd and 4th respectively on 436 points, with Dave finishing 3rd by virtue of having more perfect tips.
